David Abadi is the Founder and Managing Partner of ABADI & CO. and a leading Israeli corporate and M&A lawyer with nearly three decades of experience advising Israeli and international clients on complex commercial, corporate and strategic business challenges.
Throughout his career, David has advised leading corporations, entrepreneurs, investors and senior executives on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), investments, joint ventures, corporate structures, commercial agreements, and complex negotiations.
Before founding ABADI & CO., David was a senior partner and Head of the Corporate & Commercial Department at one of Israel’s big law firms. Over the years, he has played a central role in significant transactions and has accompanied clients through critical business decisions, negotiations and complex commercial situations.
David’s practice combines extensive legal experience with a strong understanding of business and strategy. He is particularly known for his ability to identify the core issues in complex situations, develop practical and creative solutions, and lead negotiations with determination while maintaining a fair and constructive approach.

Hilit is a partner in our Litigation Department. She works with public and private companies, business groups, and high-net-worth individuals in complex disputes. She represents and advises in a wide range of commercial and corporate proceedings, including disputes between shareholders and partners, control battles, investment, financing and acquisition disputes, derivative claims and officers' and directors' liability, and claims involving fraud, economic wrongs, and breach of contract. She also handles real estate and construction disputes, debt arrangements and negotiations with creditors, unfair competition and trade secrets, franchising and distribution agreements, trade secrets and intellectual property, and inheritance and estate disputes with legal and personal complexity.
Her clients operate in many sectors, including technology, capital markets, real estate, industry, banking, hotels, restaurants, local and international infrastructure, local and international trade, publishing, and more.
Hilit has more than 20 years of experience managing proceedings in all courts, including complex, multi-party cases and matters in multiple forums running at the same time. She combines a deep command of each case's factual, financial, and legal details with strategic, result-focused thinking - planning steps, managing risk, and early identification of pressure points and opportunities. Her broad experience allows her to respond quickly and accurately to changing circumstances, and to give her clients an advantage both in the case itself and outside the courtroom.
Additional parts of her practice include representing clients in fraud and misappropriation claims - including reconstructing facts, locating assets, and managing enforcement proceedings; litigation for technology companies in disputes with a complex technological element; and managing parallel proceedings in Israel and abroad against international entities and digital platforms, including representing Latin American companies and establishing jurisdiction in Israel.
Alongside litigation, Hilit developed an interdisciplinary psychological-legal mediation method. It combines careful legal analysis with a deep understanding of the human dynamics behind each dispute, making it possible to reach sustainable settlements even in complex disputes.
Hilit serves as a mediator, lectures and publishes legal articles, and serves as an arbitrator and as a member of the disciplinary tribunal of the Tel Aviv District of the Israel Bar Association.

Tal Kaufman heads the firm’s Wealth Management and Intergenerational Transfer Department and brings over 20 years’ experience in legal and financial advisory work for some of the largest companies in Israel. Prior to joining the firm, she held senior in-house roles, including at the Shufersal retail chain and as Head of the Legal Department at Medan Insurance Group, alongside extensive hands-on experience in the pension and retirement-planning sector.
Tal combines legal training with deep financial expertise. She holds an LL.B (with honors) from Tel Aviv University, an MBA, completed studies in financial planning, and holds a pension license. This integrated background enables her to advise clients holistically, covering wealth management, personal financial and pension planning, retirement processes, and the drafting of enduring powers of attorney, wills, and prenuptial agreements.
