Keren Kapel Shmueli is a partner in ABADI’s Real Estate, M&A, International Commercial Law, and Commercial and Corporate Law practices. With more than 20 years of experience, she advises companies, entrepreneurs, investors, and private clients on real estate, commercial, and international transactions in Israel and abroad.

Her primary areas of practice are real estate, commercial business law, M&A, and international transactions. Over the years, Keren has come to understand that high-quality legal counsel requires a combination of legal expertise, deep business insight, and creative thinking to identify solutions and bring transactions to completion.

Keren’s primary practice focuses on real estate. She represents clients in private and commercial real estate transactions, including sale and purchase agreements, lease agreements, contractor transactions, co-ownership agreements, land acquisitions, registration of rights, real estate tax matters, mortgages and collateral, and the representation of developers and/or property owners in urban renewal and National Outline Plan 38 projects.

She has unique experience advising on real estate transactions involving kibbutzim, both before and after the allocation of ownership rights, and also assists foreign residents in the acquisition and sale of real estate assets in Israel.

Alongside her real estate practice, Keren advises companies and business owners on the formation of companies and partnerships, the establishment of corporate structures, founders’ and shareholders’ agreements, joint venture agreements, investment agreements, M&A transactions, ongoing legal counsel, and commercial agreements in Israel and abroad.

Keren believes that effective legal counsel begins with understanding the client’s business, market, needs, and objectives. Therefore, she maintains an open dialogue with clients and strives to provide comprehensive, tailored advice that enables them to make informed decisions, advance their business, and manage risk effectively.

Her legal, economic, and business education - an LL.B., a B.A. in Economics, and an MBA - supports her ability to combine thorough, in-depth legal analysis with a broad business perspective.
